Four, Five, Six – Chamber Music for Winds Sunday, October 5, 2025 3:00 PM 1867 Sanctuary 101 Scotch Road Ewing, NJ Get ready for a delightful journey through three lively works that show off the personality and charm of wind instruments. We begin with German composer Karl Goepfart’s Quartet in D Minor—a beautifully expressive piece full of rich, romantic melodies. Next is Carl Nielsen’s Wind Quintet, written for a group of his close musician friends and filled with playful energy, warm harmonies, and a touch of mischief. To top it all off, Francis Poulenc’s Sextuor brings piano into the mix with a burst of French elegance, wit, and jazzy flair. Pianist Clipper Erickson, fresh off his standout performance with the orchestra last season, joins our wind players for this fun and engaging program.
